Men
of the 55th. who had been allowed to volunteer into
98th Regt. with
a view
to their being employed in
the Police
in Hong Kong.
I am directed

acquaint you
that on List
having been obtained
it appears,
that
many
of them have served in the
Army long enough,
to entitle them
if discharged as
Invalids
to Pension,
in consequence of their Service being so long. The return
required.
